The Philips smart door lock includes two operating modes. For example, you can choose the general mode if you want not to open the door until the fingerprint is successfully identified. As for the pass mode, the door is opened by pressing the handle only, and this mode is suitable for repeated opening of the door in a short time to save time, and of course, you can switch between the two modes to suit your needs.
The internal part of the lock includes an additional thumb key, when rotated, the lock can only be opened from the outside using the mechanical key, providing a high level of privacy.
As for security and protection, the lock triggers a warning alert when the authentication attempt fails 5 times in a row. It is also locked for 3 minutes in order to deter any suspicious hacking attempt.
